belief [n.]

1. A feeling that something exists or is true, especially one without proof. 2. A firmly held opinion. 3. [Belief in] trust or confidence in. 4. Religious faith.
- ORIGIN - Old English.

This section is about world religions and beliefs, from what are the major religions to others of equal importance to their followers. Covered with each of the major religions are core beliefs, major groupings/denominations, essential religious books and texts, general information and even software [primarily with religious texts]. These areas are continually being expanded.

With the diversity of religions/beliefs from Baha’i to Voodoo, Atheism to Scientology, Indigenous Beliefs to Hare Krishna, we have only been able to list limited connections. Again, these areas are to be expanded

There is information on tolerance - especially between religious beliefs, concept-related beliefs such as ethics, cults, mythology, The Crusades and more.

All we have tried to achieve here is to provide as much diverse information as possible. We advocate no religion or belief. You must decide whether any religion is right for you, based on a clear understanding of what is involved.
