The links given below are there to help you find answers to homework questions you may have. They cover all areas of study at both primary and secondary level. Where possible, we have included Australian sites.
If you are using sites from other countries, you must allow for different spellings and ways of doing things, even though information may be accurate.
This page looks at other homework helper sites plus sites for specialist areas such as Mathematics and some tools & techniques to consider.
The First Page looks at Australian homework helper sites including those developed by public libraries [local to national] and schools. As well, there is a section for parents, with thoughts about homework and ways of helping your child when they are doing homework. Please note this is about helping them, not doing it for them. It covers everything from providing a suitable work area to ways of accessing resources and even how much [if any] homework needs to be done.
You might also check the :
- Teaching Resources pages;
- The various subject area pages in the Curriculum Information section of the menu;
- The pages in the Reference section of the menu, especially those in the General Reference section;
- Note that all History information is found on one set of History pages;
- For students at the upper secondary level, you may also find assistance in the Tertiary Subjects pages.
We were fortunate in having this page listed as a worthwhile resource by the Sydney Morning Herald’s ICON section in February, 2005, Australian NetGuide in March 2006, March 2007 and February 2009, PC User [NetGuide] for April 2010 and PC User [NetGuide] for April 2011.
