General Reference Home Page

This page links to reference topics on individual pages ranging from Asking an Expert to World Heritage Areas and Zoos. These provide access to information about the topic covered. On each page there is a range of sub-topics. For example : Libraries - Australian libraries, State Libraries, International libraries, World’s Best Libraries, library associations, digital libraries, classification systems, archives, … .

We have tried to combine all material about each topic on these pages, having links from related pages. With some small exceptions, we have succeeded in doing this.

Some parts of the previous version have been modified, other material moved e.g. Street Directories. Others have expanded. Blogs and Podcasts are on separate pages, as are Dictionaries and Glossaries, Galleries and Museums, Photography and Digital Photography, World Information and World Heritage, News and Newspapers. Religion covers several pages. Major religions have separate pages, with further information on other pages. Most have added material.

One page has undergone a complete name change, with Communications replacing Telephone, Post and Postcodes.

As page titles clearly indicate the content, we have not added descriptors. Click on the page title to go to the page.
