Education Conferences & Events

conference [n.]

1. a formal meeting for discussion or debate. 2. an association in commerce for regulation or exchange of information. 3, a league of sports teams or clubs.

Somewhere, on any given day, there will be a conference or event with some educational purpose. This could be at local, regional, state, national or international level. It could be about curriculum, administration or professional development. In addition to the actual conference or event, it is probable that follow-up documentation will be produced. This may lead to increased understanding of a particular area or to systemic change.

The conferences and events listed below do not attempt to include all those which will occur. It will include those which the webmasters are aware of and feel are worthy of inclusion. Wherever possible, all Australian conferences/events will be included.

Individual conference or event information will be added as far ahead of the actual date as possible. Annotations for individual items will be fairly brief.

Inclusions in the first section will be listed under months of the year, then in date order, with each annotation finishing with the relevant dates/venue.

Once it has been held, each conference will move to the second section, where it will be listed alphabetically. The listing will be maintained for several months to allow access to papers and other documentation.
